Off Page SEO
Off Page SEO, when used appropriately can be the difference between a winning campaign and losing it all. Whether you are using Google AdWords or another form of search engine advertising, or you are selling through pay per click, your rankings are in the hands of your on page SEO.
If you think about it, you may have noticed that while your web pages can rank as highly as they do on Google, their placement may be in the lower half of search results. This is because of many factors. Some people get the idea that if you only use high quality keywords in your articles or website content then Google will give you the best results possible. While this may work in some cases, it is not true for everyone.
To keep your ranking high in Google, you need to take a different approach. One method of off page SEO is to optimize your blog or website to make it as relevant as possible to the keywords you are using. For example, if you are writing about travel and you know a lot about that particular subject then you should be able to include a lot of relevant keywords. This could include the city that your particular destination falls in, the airline that you fly from or the airline that you fly out of.
If you are a website owner then you want to optimize your site for the specific keyword that you are targeting and use other strategies to help boost your rankings in the search engine results. Some of these are: linking to other relevant websites, adding useful information to your website or articles and using keywords in your titles. These are important, but don’t neglect off page SEO as well. One technique is to include meta tags and the other is to write original articles that are relevant to your own topic.
An effective off page SEO strategy is not only using keywords to your advantage, but also writing and optimizing original content. You may want to start with a website that offers free or inexpensive article writing and then add your own writing to it. This is known as “blogging” and you will create back links to your own website to increase your rank in the search engines.
If you follow the above methods and use them in combination, you will find yourself ranking well within a short period of time. It does take some time, but it will pay off in the long term. So make sure you consider the above methods when you are looking to optimize your website for Google AdWords and other forms of search engine advertising.
